With the’third epidemic’ of a new coronavirus infectious disease in Korea (Corona 19) lasting for nearly four months, infections of both large and small nationwide are following.
According to the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bang Dae-bon) on the 6th, a new case of outbreak was confirmed in the metropolitan area where family and acquaintances gathered as a link.
First, after the first confirmed person (indicator patient) occurred on the 3rd of this month in relation to the family and acquaintance meeting in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, 9 people were subsequently tested positive and confirmed, and a total of 10 people have been infected so far.
In a meeting of acquaintances in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, 10 people, including acquaintances and family members, have been tested positive from the 1st to the present, and a total of 11 people have been confirmed in a group of acquaintances in Gunpo-si, and an epidemiological investigation is underway.
The aftermath of earlier infections, such as saunas, restaurants, and hospitals, also continued.
In connection with a restaurant in Nowon-gu, a total of 18 people, including workers, visitors, and their families, have been confirmed.
In the hospital located in Dongdaemun-gu (hospital case 3), three more people came out and 13 had been positive so far, and the number of confirmed patients related to the Eunpyeong-gu sauna increased by one to a total of 16.
In Dongducheon City, more confirmed cases were also found in the Japanese-made prosecution for foreigners in the region.

In Icheon City, there were additional cases of infection at box manufacturers (41 people accumulated) and styrofoam factory (15 people), and the number of confirmed cases related to Taekwondo and daycare centers in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do increased by 6 to a total of 32.
Infectious embers also followed in areas outside the metropolitan area.
An epidemiological investigation is underway because 17 workers have been infected since the last 3 days related to a glass manufacturing industry in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
In the fitness case in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, three additional people were tested positive, and the cumulative confirmed number increased to 64. Among them, 49 were related to fitness, 8 were related to pubs, and 7 were related to acquaintances.
In Daegu and Gyeongbuk, the number of confirmed cases is increasing, centering on family and acquaintance gatherings.
In the case of one family in Dong-gu, Daegu (one family case 5), a total of 7 people have been infected since the first confirmed case on the 2nd, and in another family case in Buk-gu, Pohang City, a total of 6 people, including family and acquaintances, were positive.
The number of confirmed cases related to the college student acquaintance meeting in Buk-gu, Daegu increased to a total of 32.
The number of confirmed cases related to the port transportation union in Seo-gu, Busan steadily came out and was counted as 11 people.
In Jeju, a total of 6 people, including visitors, workers, colleagues, and acquaintances, were positive for pubs located in Jeju-si, and in the case of a bowling alley in Jeju-si, a total of 8 people were confirmed and are undergoing treatment by 0 o’clock on this day.
Meanwhile, out of the 5,479 new confirmed cases reported to the quarantine authorities for the last two weeks from the 21st of last month to this day, 1,253 cases are currently being investigated, accounting for 22.9% of the total. This is a slight increase from the previous day (21.3%).
