The procedure for payment of support funds to the underprivileged, such as small business owners, special high school (specially employed) and freelancers, who have been damaged by the third spread of Corona 19, will be paid in earnest starting next week, starting with the preparation process such as this week’s business announcement.
According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance on the 3rd, the government will announce the support fund for small businesses and the emergency employment stabilization support fund on the 6th. This is a process for officially notifying the public of the details of the 3rd disaster subsidy.
The support fund for small business owners is a project that provides support for a total of 2.8 million small business owners with annual sales of less than 400 million won, which saw a decrease in sales last year compared to the previous year, as well as for businesses that are banned or restricted in accordance with the government’s quarantine guidelines. Support is provided for 3 million won for the prohibited industry, 2 million won for the collective limit, and 1 million won for the general industry.
The Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund for Special High School and Freelancers is a project that provides 500,000 won (applicants) and 1 million won (new support) to 700,000 special high school and freelancers whose income has decreased due to the prolonged Corona 19.
The government first pays subsidies to those who have previously received subsidies for small business owners and special high schools, and then starts new support. Existing applicants are able to execute funds to more people more quickly as the government already has the data.
The emergency employment stabilization support fund for special high school and freelancers will be sent directly to the existing applicants (650,000) along with the project announcement on the 6th. For those who are willing to receive the grant, payment will begin between the 11th and 15th after completing the simple application process online. It is expected that the payment to the applicants will be completed at least before the Lunar New Year holiday.
A new program has also been established to provide 500,000 won in living support for 90,000 employees in visiting and caring services.
Income stabilization fund 500,000 won is given to 80,000 corporate taxi drivers whose income has decreased due to the decrease in passengers.
From the 11th, small business owners will send a text message to the applicants (2.5 million) from the 11th. It is a method of receiving an online application at the same time as sending a text message and paying it as soon as it is ready. If you hurry to apply, you will be able to receive support from the 11th.
The process for new applicants for small business support funding begins on January 25th.
The business announcement for new applicants for the Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund is made on the 15th, and a brief screening process is conducted to determine whether or not it is eligible for support.
