Even small business owners who have not yet received support funds can apply for the ‘Special Support Program for Small Businesses for Rent in Restricted Businesses (hereinafter referred to as special loans for limited business types) through the ‘Confirmation of Implementation of Group Restrictions Measures’.

According to the Financial Services Commission on the 27th, in order for small business owners with limited collective restrictions to apply for a special loan for restricted-level businesses, which has been newly established since the 18th, a’certification of payment of support funds’ is required. It turned out that they could not apply for a special loan.

Accordingly, the government and the banking sector decided to expand the application method so that they can apply for special loans through the “Confirmation of Implementation of the Administrative Order of Social Distancing Prevention Measures” (hereinafter referred to as “confirmation of implementation”) issued by local governments from the 25th. Schools, teaching schools, and reading rooms may be issued a confirmation of implementation from the Office of Education or Education Support. From the 28th, 12 commercial and regional banks, including Kookmin, Nonghyup, Shinhan, and Woori, can apply for special loans through a confirmation of implementation.

However, only those with annual average sales of 1 billion to 12 billion won or less in 2019 or last year are eligible for special loan support. Specifically, △food and lodging businesses with less than 1 billion won △Wholesale and retail businesses with less than 5 billion won △Manufacturers with less than 12 billion won are eligible for support.

On the other hand, a total of 2648 cases (206.3 billion won) were received from the 18th to the 25th of the first week of implementation, and an additional fund of 72.7 billion won was provided.
