This year’s publicly announced price of a 10-pyeong apartment in Gangbuk, Seoul, with one room, exceeded 900 million won, which is the tax standard. Due to the soaring public price this year, the tax target has been expanded to 20 pyeong small apartments in’Mayongseong’ (Mapo, Yongsan, Seongdong-gu), a popular area in Gangbuk. Last year, 59 square meters (20 pyeong) of Masongseong, with an official price of 800 million won, surpassed 900 million won one after another. Mapo Raemian Prugio in Ahyeon-dong costs 1,020 billion won, and Oksu Park Hills in Oksu-dong, Seongdong-gu, costs 1,030 billion won. In Yongsan, 59㎡ of Hannam The Hill, which already exceeded 900 million won in 2018, has risen to 1.42 billion won, and other complexes such as Hangaram in Ichon-dong have risen to 900 million won.

In Busan and Daegu, 84㎡ of 30 pyeong exceeded 900 million won. Marine City Xi, U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, rose 40% from 685 million won to 966 million won. Samik Beach, Namcheon-dong, Suyeong-gu, near Gwangalli Beach, soared 85% from 650 million won to 1.21 billion won.

In Suseong-gu, which is called’Gangnam of Daegu’, the official price of a small apartment has risen to 1 billion won. Beomeo-dong Belivebeom is up to 1.06 billion won this year, an increase of nearly 50% from last year’s 728 million won.

In Ulsan, where there was no public price exceeding 900 million won, 296㎡ of Kolon Parkpolis in Sinjeong-dong, Nam-gu is worth 1,040 billion won this year.

Amid the strong mid- and low-priced homes this year, the listed price increase of Gangnam reconstruction chiefs was below the average. Eunma in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Banpo Complex 1, Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, and Jugong Complex 5, Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, climbed only 10%.
