SK Telecom subscribers will no longer be able to receive the data they used for the T Map service for free.

On the 12th, Tmap Mobility said, “The company is currently a separate corporation and has inevitably terminated data billing in order to comply with the Fair Trade Act.”

SK Telecom, which spun off the Tmap Mobility corporation at the end of last year, has been operating the T Map service in related business units before, and has provided free T Map usage data to its subscribers only. It was a so-called’zero rating’ service.

The average monthly Tmap data usage of 13 million users is 48MB, which is 500KB~2MB per time.

Accordingly, Tmap Mobility plans to minimize user damage by providing 100MB, which is twice the monthly average Tmap data usage, for the next six months (April to September).
