Accordingly, SK Telecom subscribers will be deducted from the same data as when using T-map from April 19th, as the data fee-free service’Zero Rating’ ends.

An official from Tmap Mobility explained, “Currently, SK Telecom and Tmap Mobility are separate corporations, and to comply with the Fair Trade Act, we have inevitably terminated data charges.”

SK Telecom’s mobility business group, which has previously promoted the T Map platform and T Map taxi business, was spun off from SK Telecom with the launch of a new corporation’T Map Mobility’ last year.

Tmap Mobility’s position is to minimize user damage by providing 100 megabytes (MB) for an additional 6 months. Currently, the average monthly Tmap data usage of 13 million users using Tmap Mobility is 48MB, ranging from 500KB to 2MB per time. 100MB is twice the average usage. The 10MB period is from next month to September.

An official from Tmap Mobility said, “As a mobility specialized company, we will continue to develop Tmap services on our own.”
