SK Telecom announced on the 17th that it will release two new 5G plans on the 1st of next month.

The two new 5G plans are ‘5GX Regular’, which provides 110GB of data for 69,000 won per month, and ‘5GX Regular Plus,’ which provides 250GB of data for 79,000 won per month. With the new 5G plan, subscriptions to the existing 5GX standard (75,000 won per month) plan will be suspended from the 1st of next month.

As a result of analyzing user data usage patterns, the company decided that it needed a new rate plan for heavy users who use about 100 GB of data per month, and introduced the 5GX regular rate plan. In addition, 5GX Regular Plus has increased the amount of data provided by 50GB compared to the existing 5GX standard. That means lowering the rate per 1MB.

In addition, the basic data provision of the slim (55,000 won per month) plan and 5G Untact 38 (38,000 won per month) will be expanded from 9GB to 10GB in accordance with the launch date of the plan.
