SK Telecom has adjusted the scale of the Galaxy S21 public announcement subsidy to 500,000 won. This is a three-fold increase from 170,000 won, which was announced at the time of reservation in advance.
According to SK Telecom on the 20th, it was raised to 500,000 won for a monthly plan of 125,000 won, 450,000 won for a monthly plan of 89,000 won, and 356,000 won for a monthly plan of 75,000 won.
The day after LG U+ announced a publicly announced subsidy of up to KRW 500,000, KT raised the subsidy, and SK Telecom, which had adhered to the existing subsidy level ahead of the opening of the pre-booked amount, was also raised.
KT is about twice as much as the existing subsidies, and SK Telecom is about three times higher.
The amount of subsidies announced by LG Uplus is not higher than the total discount when receiving a 25% optional contract discount for 24 months.
However, if an additional 15% of the distribution network is added, receiving the terminal discount support will exceed the 25% total fee discount.
