SK Sugar Gliders (representative Kyu-tak Cha, hereafter SK Shoes), a prestigious club that won the 2017 and 2020 Handball Korea League championships, has established a new home in Gwangmyeong City.

Gwangmyeong City (Mayor Park Seung-won) announced on the 20th that it had signed an agreement with Gwangmyeong Mayor Park Seung-won, National Assemblyman Lim Oh-kyung (Gap Gwang), and head of SK Shoes, Bae-Hyeon Lee, in the mid-level conference room of Gwangmyeong City Hall.

Gwangmyeong Mayor Park Seung-won said, “This will be an opportunity to increase the value of sports culture in Gwangmyeong City by attracting women’s handball clubs.”

In cooperation with Gwangmyeong City and National Assemblyman Lim Oh-kyung, SK Shoes plans to start marketing related sites and improve home stadium facilities from the first half of this year, settling a relationship and creating an active handball boom.
