SK hynix announced the roadmap for’SV 2030′ on the 7th and announced that it will achieve its goals by 2030 across the environment, shared growth, social safety net, and corporate culture. The SV 2030 roadmap is’Green 2030′, which builds an eco-friendly production and distribution structure,’Advance Together’, which pursues shared growth with partner companies, and’Social Safety Net’, which emphasizes social role as a corporate citizen. It is promoting a total of 13 million tons of carbon dioxide emission reduction, including 6.5 million tons of carbon dioxide absorption and reduction activities, and 6.5 million tons of low-power products. In order to maintain the current level of air pollutant emissions even in the process of expanding investment, nitrogen oxide collection facilities will be expanded in the production process.
ZWTL (Zero Waste Landfill Target), which was the first Korean company to be certified at all production bases at home and abroad, aims to receive 99%’gold’ grade certification at all business sites. There is also a plan to increase the amount of water resource savings to 300% compared to the current level. The amount of water recycled will increase from an average of 40,000 tons per day (as of 2019) to more than five times by 2030.
Technology investment for suppliers will increase to 3 trillion won. To this end, it will sequentially invest 1.2 trillion won in the establishment and operation of the’Win-Win Cooperation Center’ (Wido Tech Center). Support for technologically innovative companies, which are shared growth programs, and implementation of industry-university and national projects are also expanded.
We create a system that embodies the roles that companies play in social emergencies, and operate a separate fund to implement them. They actively roll their arms in solving community problems. This includes expanding lunch box support projects for undernourished children, creating jobs for the disabled, and solving the disappearance of the elderly with dementia and developmental disabilities.
In addition, we guarantee more than 200 hours of training per year per employee for all members of the company. It also operates a program to nurture female leaders, such as increasing the ratio of female technical office workers and doubling the number of female positions.
