Choi Tae-won, 61, chairman of SK Group, took over the position of chairman of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Chairman Park Yong-man. The Seoul Chancellor held a general meeting of parliamentarians on the 23rd and elected Chairman Choi as the new Seoul Chancellor. According to the custom of the Seoul Prize’s chairman as the Chairman of the Korea Prize, Chairman Choi was elected as the Chairman of the Korea Prize. Chairman Choi is scheduled to become chairman at the General Assembly of the Korean Awards held on the 24th of next month. This is the first time that the head of the four major groups will assume the position of the chairman of the Daehan Award.

I will do my best to lead the chairman of the Seoul Prize.” Gyeonmajiro (犬馬之勞) is a self-deprecating saga, interpreted as a means of contributing strength to the economy.

Chairman Choi continued, “It is difficult to do this work alone, because there must be a lot of your participation and talk. We will build a business environment with many people and an environment for the future and future generations of Korea.”

Chairman Choi, who met with reporters right after the event, said, “I took on a heavy position in a severe period,” and said, “I will do my best to contribute to the development of the economy and society.” Regarding the theory of integration of economic groups, he replied, “I have never heard of such a story, so I am not sure what is going on.”
