SK Bioscience, the first’public offering stock owner’ this year, has written a new history of the Korean public offering stock market by raising a subscription margin of 63.6 trillion won. This is because the market liquidity centered on the stock market was supported, and even small investors began to subscribe to the news of the introduction of an equal allocation method.

However, due to the excessively high competition rate at some securities companies, public offering stocks were distributed by lottery for the first time in history, and as a result, subscribers who received less than a share of stocks were added.

◇ 2.4 million accounts at 6 securities companies, KRW 63.6 trillion

The subscription margin amounted to KRW 63,619.8 billion, concentrated in the six supervisory securities companies responsible for the IPO of SK Bioscience. It broke the record of 58,554.3 billion won by Kakao Games, the highest record in the past. This is twice the level of SK Biopharm’s 30.989.9 billion won, which sparked the public offering stock craze last year.

A total of 239,8167 accounts from six securities companies participated in the subscription, recording an average subscription competition rate of 335.4:1. Even according to the equal allocation method newly introduced this year, there are cases in which even one week is not received.

As with the first day of subscription, Samsung Securities’ competition rate, with the lowest allocation volume, was the highest at 443.23:1. This was followed by Korea Investment & Securities 371.54 to 1, NH Investment & Securities 334.32 to 1, Mirae Asset Daewoo 326.33 to 1, Hana Financial Investment 284.79 to 1, and SK Securities at 225.18 to 1.

The six supervised brokerage branches and online counseling centers in charge of IPOs were crowded with investors throughout the period of subscription to public offerings. Investors who are unfamiliar with online subscriptions traveled to each brokerage branch to make subscriptions.

This subscription craze is foreseen. This is because we saw the case of SK Biopharm and Kakao Games, where the stock market’s waiting funds (investors’ deposit) reached 67 trillion won, and continued to be’tasang’ (the upper limit after the initial price jumped to twice the public offering price). In addition, an equal allocation method was introduced, in which half of the general subscription volume was evenly distributed to investors who paid more than the minimum margin, and the fact that multiple subscriptions were possible at six securities companies was a good thing.

However, there are some investors who do not receive even a share even if they paid the minimum margin for a box office that exceeded expectations. The number of subscription accounts for Samsung Securities and Hana Financial Investment was 3,950,290 and 2,09594, respectively, far exceeding the equally allocated amount (14,3438 shares). In this case, applicants are randomly drawn and distributed for one week.

However, the situation at the other four securities companies is okay. The number of subscription accounts for NH Investment & Securities, which equally allocates 107,1438 shares, was 64,6826. Korea Investment & Securities recorded 553,432 cases for equal allocation of 65,9813 shares, Mirae Asset Daewoo recorded 471,911 cases for 631125 shares, and SK Securities recorded 11,6114 cases for 22,9500 shares, so investors at least 1 You can now take more than a week.

Excluding the equal allocation method, the remaining 50% of the amount is distributed in proportion to the subscription margin. NH Investment & Securities, which has been allocated the largest amount as a representative manager, can receive a total of 5 shares, including 1 equal distribution and 4 proportional distribution, if 100 million won is put in. The results of the public offering stock allocation will be announced on the 12th.
