65 cumulative confirmed cases from Hyojeong Nursing Hospital for 2-3 days
[아시아경제 호남취재본부 이관우 기자] During the night, 6 additional corona19 confirmed cases related to nursing hospitals and nursing homes occurred in Gwangju.
According to the city of Gwangju on the 4th, as of 0 o’clock the previous day, 6 people, including 3 people related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital and 3 people related to Evergreen Nursing Home, were diagnosed and classified as confirmed cases 1206-1211 in Gwangju.
Gwangju 1206~1207, 1211 are confirmed cases related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital. Among them, Gwangju No. 1206~1207 was confirmed to have undergone anonymous tests at the Temporary Screening Inspection Office.
From the 2nd to the previous day, 65 people, including nursing care guards, nurses, staff, and inpatients, were confirmed with the infection of Hyojeong Nursing Hospital.
The confirmed cases related to the Evergreen Nursing Home, which have been experiencing a serial infection since last month, are 1208-1210 in Gwangju. All of them received positive notifications from tests prior to self-isolation.
As a result, the number of new confirmed patients on the 23rd day was counted as 74, including 68 previously announced. This is a new record, exceeding 39 on August 26, the previous record.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Gwangju increased to 1211.
