It was argued that the top elder actress Yoon Jung-hee (real name Son Mi-ja, 77) was fighting Alzheimer’s disease alone in France amid neglect of her spouse and daughter.

Petitioner said, “I am separated from my husband and are not being cared for by my spouse. I am suffering from Alzheimer’s and diabetes alone in an apartment outside Paris.” I can’t even go in because my husband is living.”
“In the house where Yoon Jeong-hee is located, a Frenchman from the land of fresh noodles enters as a tenant, and this Frenchman has his own full-time job and goes to work in the morning.
During the day, Jeong-hee Yoon, a patient with Alzheimer’s disease, is taking prescription drugs such as diabetes drugs properly, or if she asks her daughter if someone helps,” he said. “If you do not take the necessary medications in time, especially in the case of diabetes drugs, a fatal situation may come I am very worried.”
Cheong Won-in also said, “Although (Yoon Jeong-hee’s) daughter lives nearby, she cannot properly take care of her mother because her life is busy due to her work and family life. She was neglected by her immediate family, spouse and daughter. Are doing. I cannot go outside alone and live like a prison.”
In particular, he harshly criticized Yoon Jeong-hee’s husband, pianist Paik Kun-woo, saying, “It has been two years since he hasn’t seen his wife. He said he couldn’t do anything better, and left the brothers to take care of his wife’s care. At the end of April 2019, he suddenly showed up with his daughter and forcibly awakened Yoon Jung-hee, who was sleeping, and dragged him as if he was kidnapped.”
Also, “Yun’s husband appeared in Seoul and volunteered to interview the media. He said, “(Yun Jeong-hee) was taken to France and hospitalized for a fracture of the thigh, and his face looks 20 years old.”
He said, “Yoon Jung-hee always wanted to spend his old days in Korea. “I wish I could spend the rest of my life in Korea, free from the situation where I was neglected by my immediate family and deprived of even basic human rights.”
Yoon Jung-hee is the protagonist who opened the Troika era with Moon-hee and Nam Jeong-im in the 1960s, which is called the golden age of Korean cinema. He enjoyed the greatest popularity of his time, appeared in 330 films, and won the Best Actress Award in various film awards 24 times, including the Daejong Award for Best Actress.
Yoon Jeong-hee is said to have suffered from Alzheimer’s 10 years ago.
Unfortunately, this is also the time when he played an Alzheimer’s patient in the film’Poetry’ (2010) directed by Lee Chang-dong.
Yoon Jung-hee made a comeback on the screen after 15 years in the role of’Mija’, whose memories were ruined by dementia at the time. That year, he was invited to the Cannes Film Festival and received favorable reviews from the critics, including the Woman of the Year Award. This year marks the 47th year of marriage to world-renowned pianist Paik Kun-woo.
