Amid the conflict over the team activities of Eric Shin and Dong-wan Kim, the longest-running idol group in Korea, Shinhwa’s side is taking legal action against malicious slander.
Eric announced on his Instagram on the 17th that he had reconciled with Kim Dong-wan, saying, “Thank Dong-wan for putting down each other’s image and pride for the sake of Shinhwa, and thank you for the members.”
Eric also thanked the fans, saying, “Let’s fight to protect the myths and the creation of myths (fan clubs) with this energy, instead of comparing ourselves and fighting with each other.
Kim Dong-wan also told Instagram that he had resolved the misunderstanding through a conversation with Eric and said that he would continue the activities and stage of Shinhwa.
Shinhwa’s leader Eric and member Kim Dong-wan, who have been on the team for the past 23 years, recently expressed their dissatisfaction with each other in the process of team activities on their respective Instagram. After that, the two met, resolved misunderstandings about each other, and closed the conflict.
In addition, their independent label Shinhwa Company said, “Since then, insults and slanders through anonymous bulletin boards, family members have been misunderstood through malicious slander and personal attacks, and serious insults against colleagues and family members. He said, “I will take the name of all the members and hold strong legal responsibility for the blasphemy and defamation that is different from the facts.”
In addition, he added that he will not accept any opinions on the anonymous bulletin board and will not receive any support, and that he will communicate with fans through Shinhwa’s official fan cafe and actively accept their opinions.
