Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 28th that it has been incorporated into the 2021 Gender Equality Index (BGEI) released by Bloomberg, a global financial information agency, for the third consecutive year.

BGEI is selected by evaluating five categories, including △female leadership and talent development △equal wage and gender equality △inclusive culture △sexual harassment policy, △female-friendly brands, for companies listed on the U.S. stock exchange with a market capitalization of over $1 billion by Bloomberg. .

A total of 380 companies from 44 countries were incorporated into the BGEI announced this year. Shinhan Financial Group was selected along with advanced global companies such as Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley.
