Shin Ramyun has dominated the domestic ramen market since 1991. It is also known as’Korean ramen’ in overseas markets. In fact, Shin Ramyun’s overseas sales last year amounted to about $390 million (about 450 billion won), accounting for 40% of Nongshim’s total overseas sales. Last year, the New York Times selected Shin Ramyun Black as’Best Ramen’.
