Channel A’s entertainment program “Prenatal High School Alumni” (hereinafter referred to as “Girl’s High School Alumni”) broadcasted on the 24th included stories about ovarian health and how to overcome menopause. Hee-jin Shim confessed that he had visited the obstetrics and gynecologist before marriage in the past, and that it was a miscarriage.
Shim Hye-jin said, “I don’t have one ovary,” he said, saying that he had had an ovarian resection in the past. He explained, “When I was in my 30s, my body was dry, but only the stomach was convex, so I had severe constipation. Then I went to a big hospital because of the abnormality.”
He recalled that time, “It’s called a water hump (ovarian cyst). 30 years ago, he said he had to open an open stomach.” At that time, however, Shim Hye-jin, who was before marriage, added, “Because I was single, I had an ovarian resection by laparoscopy.”
