SF9 Insung casts musical’Red Book’… New lawyer 役 [공식]

Inseong, the main vocalist and actor of the group SF9, was cast in the musical’Red Book’.

Inseong was recognized for his stable vocal and acting ability by challenging his first musical with the musical’The Days’ which ended recently. In addition, despite the coronavirus outbreak, it shows ticket power and is emerging as a rising star in the musical world. Here, they are cast in the musical’Red Book’ one after another, and they are receiving the expectations of the performers and fans.

The musical’Red Book’, in which Inseong was confirmed to appear, is understood through the appearance of each other between the gentleman’s country of England, the most conservative Victorian era among them, between Anna, a woman who wants to live as me rather than a lady, and Brown, a man who only knows how to live as a gentleman. It is a work that speaks of the value of and respect.

Brown, played by Insung, is from a wealthy middle-class family, but he is a naive and stupid new lawyer who only learned love and romance through books. In addition, he is a person full of pride and confidence in himself, a gentleman among the gentlemen. Brown is a person who looks back and changes through Anna, whom she met because of her grandmother’s will.

Inseong is receiving favorable reviews for his completely different appearances and ideas for each activity. While Mnet’s’Kingdom: Legendary War’ showed weighty performance and acting skills using objects, in the musical’The Days’, he perfectly digested the free-spirited Mooyoung character with abundant volume and stable acting ability. In-seong, who showed stage manners and senses suitable for various stages, is focusing on how to express the foolish lawyer Brown in the musical’Red Book’.

Meanwhile, the musical’Red Book’ will be performed at Hongik University Daehakro Art Center Grand Theater in June.
