Seven suspected speculation…LH and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport was a full-scale investigation.

A joint government investigation group (investigation group) under the Prime Minister’s Office investigated 14,000 employees of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) for a week to find seven new suspected speculation in the third new city. It was announced on the 11th that 13 LH employees were also suspicious of speculation, which was pointed out by the Participation Solidarity and Attorneys’ Association for Democratic Society (Minbyun).

However, the investigation target of the investigative team was limited to the’real name transaction of the person’, so there were no cases of suspected speculative false-name transaction using undisclosed information. Since the investigation team did not have the right to force investigation, it was not possible to verify whether the allegations of speculation by 20 people were true. In order to appease the angry public sentiment, the investigation was rather anointed. The full-scale investigation was handed over to the government joint special investigation headquarters.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun announced the results of the first investigation by the investigation team at the government office in Seoul. The investigation team surveyed the details of land transactions in 6 new towns in the 3rd phase and 2 large-scale housing sites over 1 million square meters, targeting 14,319 of all employees (14,348 people) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and LH who submitted an informed consent form.

The special edition is also in charge of investigating the loan-to-name transaction and the spouse and immediate existence of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Energy. However, the second survey of public officials and local public enterprises in Gyeonggi-Incheon region will be announced on the 18th of this month as early as the investigation team.

I will never forgive the crimes of employees and officials,” he said.

He also promised major LH surgery. Prime Minister Jeong said, “LH and its executives and employees must answer the public’s criticism about the need for this institution any more.”
