According to the military prosecutor’s office, Seungri was in a dispute with Son A, who opened his room in December 2015 while drinking with acquaintances in a food stall in Gangnam, Seoul. In the process, when there was a dispute with another customer, he was infuriated and asked to report this fact to the group chat room including former CEO Yoo In-seok and Yuri Holdings. Afterwards, Yoo In-seok ordered a member of the gang he knew to exercise power against the victims.
The military prosecutors presented at the trial on the same day as evidence of CCTV footage inside and outside the bar that Seungri’s party visited during the case related to the suspicion of Seungri’s special assault teacher. According to the prosecution’s list of evidence, it was revealed that out of the two victims of Seungri’s special assault teacher, Mr. A was an employee of a large entertainment agency. The day after the incident, it was confirmed that Seungri shared the conversation between Yang Hyun-seok and the president of the agency to which Mr. A belongs in a private chat room.
In addition, a number of evidences were presented, including the statement of Jung Beom (gangster) and the statement of witnesses (Jung Joon-young, Choi Jong-hoon, etc.), which were presented by the prosecution, but the victory side did not agree with the adoption.
