Former Congressman Yoo Seung-min criticized the speculation of employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) as “a serious crime that cannot be forgiven.” He urged President Moon Jae-in to conduct a strict investigation into the allegations of speculation on Gadeok Island by the former mayor of Busan Mayor Oh Geo-don.
Rep. Yoo posted a post on Facebook on the 3rd, saying, “President Moon Jae-in should not try to go over this problem roughly.” He said, “If LH employees or their family members who are developing the land use undisclosed information to dump the land, it is not that they have left the fish shop to the cat,” he said. “You have to strictly investigate and punish according to the law.” He added, “In addition to LH, Gyeonggi Province should investigate whether the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) are not related to land speculation.”

Yoo argued that “President Moon ordered a thorough investigation into the Prime Minister’s Office (LH controversy),” he said. “The Moon government’s solution to the housing problem was public-led housing construction, and the core was public companies such as LH, SH (Seoul Housing and Urban Corporation), and GH. “How do you trust construction?” he also criticized.

The purchase cannot avoid speculation suspicion.”
