Set fire to a Chinese factory… On the 14th, only 59 people died

The situation in Myanmar is turning into chaos. It was reported that 59 people were killed in Yangon alone yesterday (14th) due to hard-line repression by the military and police, and hostility toward China, which protesters suspect behind it, is also increasing. There were fires that seemed to be arson at several Chinese factories.

It is a Chinese clothing factory located in Yangon, the largest city.

All over the factory was engulfed in red flames.

Yesterday afternoon, more than 30 factories invested by China were attacked by unknown people.

Most of the fire damage was found in textile factories, where Chinese employees were also known to have been injured.

In Myanmar, voices of criticism of China are increasing day after day after the military coup.

Contrary to the international community’s criticism of the coup, China has repeatedly said that’conversation and negotiation’ comes first.

The Chinese embassy in Myanmar said the arson had injured many Chinese people and urged the Myanmar police to punish the lead and protect the safety and property of the Chinese people.

The local Korean Association decided to distribute Taegeukgi to a factory operated by Koreans, fearing the possibility of being mistaken for a Chinese factory.

After the fire at the factory, the Myanmar military regime declared additional martial law in four areas in Yangon and some areas in Mandalay, the second city.

Local media reported that at least 59 people died and 129 people were injured in Yangon one day yesterday as a result of violent repression by the military and police.

It is the worst bloodshed since last month’s coup.

As protesters’ anti-China sentiment spreads day by day, there are concerns that the military could use it as a justification for bloody violence suppression.
