AFP news agency reported that at least 32 people were killed and 110 were injured in a serial suicide bombing on the 21st in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
On that day, two bombings occurred in a crowded market in the Bob Al-Sharki district in central Baghdad.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced that a terrorist complained of nausea in a market in Thayahan Square, brought people together, and then detonated explosives.
Then, as more people flocked to help the victims, a second suicide terrorist set off explosives. On this day, the Corona 19 restriction was lifted nationwide after a year, and the market was crowded.
This terrorist attack has the most victims in Baghdad since the suicide bombing in the square in January 2018, where more than 30 people were killed.
Although no group has yet to show up claiming to have committed the terrorist attacks, the news agency reported that suicide bombings are primarily used by the Islamic State (IS), a Sunni extremist terrorist group.
