Yesterday in Seoul, there were 90 confirmed cases of Corona 19 a day. It is pointed out that although it is showing a decline due to the government’s social distancing measures, it is too early to be relieved as sporadic group infections continue in various places.

On the 9th, the Central Defense Response Headquarters announced yesterday that the number of corona19 confirmed in Seoul was counted to 90, down 54 from the previous day. It has been 83 days since the Seoul confirmed cases fell by double digits. Seoul Corona 19 confirmed cases continued to exceed 200 after recording 193 on December 1 of last year. Entering this year, on the 8th of last month, the number decreased to 188 and reached the level of 100.

Sporadic group infections continued throughout Seoul. Four additional patients related to a hospital in Seongdong-gu and four related to a hospital in Dongdaemun-gu were confirmed. Three people related to the sauna in Gangbuk-gu and three related to the church in Dobong-gu were also confirmed. There were 34 contacts with other confirmed patients and 3 contacts with other confirmed cases.

The previous day, four of the new confirmed cases were inflow from abroad, and 86 were from local communities. Of these, 12 were confirmed by an anonymous test at a temporary screening laboratory. The death toll on the previous day also increased by 2, and the cumulative death toll in Seoul was 341. As of 0 o’clock on the 9th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was 25,369. 3,710 people were undergoing quarantine treatment, and 21,318 people were discharged from the hospital after being diagnosed with cure.
