Kim Jin-ae, a preliminary candidate for the Seoul Mayor of the Open Democratic Party, declared his resignation as a member of parliament on the 2nd.

Preliminary candidate Kim held a press conference at 9:30 am on the morning at the National Assembly Communication Hall and said, “To achieve a win-win unity, I will drop my position as a member of the National Assembly.”

With the resignation of Kim’s preliminary candidate, the position of parliamentary office is succeeded by Kim Eui-gyeom, a former Blue House spokesman.

Preliminary candidate Kim said, “The unification of the pan-democratic passport must be different from the unification of the pan-conservative opposition, which only plays a political game. You should be able to see it,” he insisted. He then raised his voice, saying, “We have to make Seoul citizens want to come out to vote.”

Preliminary candidate Kim said, “I am sorry to the people and party members who wish to continue working in the National Assembly. After entering the 21st National Assembly through an open nomination, he worked hotly for the past ten months. “The judiciary committee got the nickname’Kim Jin Aer-Kun’ for refreshing the people, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport started with a hearing of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, He said, “We have finished speaking in favor of the special law and voting in favor of the special law.” He said, “As the 18th Democratic Party member, it was a different reward than when he was a’MB 4 Major River Project sniper’,” he said. “It was because he was able to support the Moon Jae-in administration in great success while playing a role that the ruling party members could not.”

However, the preliminary candidate Kim said, “The spirit of the present era wants’Seoul Mayor Jin-ae Kim’ rather than’Jin-ae Kim’ of Congressman.” “We will arouse hope to the citizens of Seoul and contribute to the victory of the presidential election by establishing the Moon Jae-in administration’s policy in Seoul.” Emphasized. He said, “I will become the best mayor of Seoul in this era with the real city expert Kim Jin-ae’s ability to take action, the politician Kim Jin-ae’s unwavering belief and trustworthy movement, and the human being Kim Jin-ae’s love for people and passion for life.”

Lastly, he said, “I also ask for the Democratic Party and Candidate Young-seon Park,” and said, “I ask you to show an agreed leadership through a fair unification plan so that Kim Jin-ae’s decision to resign as a member of the National Assembly is not in vain.”

It is interpreted that the resignation of the preliminary candidate Kim as a member of the parliamentary office hit Bae Bae Jin to unify with Park Young-sun and the Democratic Party Mayor of Seoul. Preliminary candidate Kim argued that the schedule for unification of pan-passports was delayed due to the late run of Democratic Party candidate Park Young-sun.

Rep. Kim, an urban planning expert from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Ph.D., entered politics while running for Yongsan, Seoul as a member of the Uri Party (predecessor to the Democratic Party) held in the 2004 general election during the Roh Moo-hyun administration. The following year, he served as the chairman of the Architectural Culture Advancement Committee, and in 2009, he became the first proportional representative of the Democratic Party.

The Open Democratic Party won 5.42% of the vote in the last general election, securing 3 seats, and candidates Kim Jin-ae, Choi Kang-wook, and Kang Min-jung, who were the 1st to 3rd proportional representatives, entered the 21st National Assembly. However, former spokesman Kim, who was the fourth proportional representative, was not elected.
