Seoul mayor approval rating… Park Young-seon 25.8%, surpassing Ahn Cheol-soo, ranked first [한국리서치]

On the 7th, it was found that the former Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business Park Young-seon, a member of the Democratic Party, outperformed Ahn Cheol-soo, representative of the National Assembly Party, within the margin of error.

As a result of the Korea Research’s request from the Hankook Ilbo, on the 4th to 6th, 800 Seoul citizens aged 18 years and older were asked for candidates suitable for the mayor of Seoul, and as a result, former Minister Park won 25.8% and CEO Ahn 19.5%. This is the gap within the margin of error (±3.5% points at 95% confidence level).

Former Congressman Na Kyung-won and former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon were 12.9% and 9.2%, respectively. Democratic party candidate Sang-ho Woo was counted at 5.2%.

Former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop (1.9%), Cho Eun-hee, chairman of Seocho-gu (1.6%), Open Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Jin-ae (1.1%), former Congressman Shin Won-hwan (0.5%), and time-changing lawmaker Jo Jung-hoon (0.1%) followed.

In addition, 15.7% of respondents did not know or responded, and 3.5% said that there is no suitable candidate.

When asked about’the most interesting issue related to the mayoral election in Seoul’, 49.7% of respondents ranked first with’real estate/residential policy’. This was followed by’job policy’ (11.0%),’welfare policy’ (10.5%), and’response to Corona 19′ (10.1%).

Of the respondents who said they would definitely vote in the mayor of Seoul, 52.1% cited the real estate and housing policy as the biggest issue. On the other hand, only 4.7% of respondents chose the’prevention of power-type sexual assault’ as the main issue, which is the cause of this election.
