The beds in this area are for the treatment of Corona 19, and only 48 modular beds for severely ill patients with negative pressure facilities are built. If the number of patients decreases depending on the situation of Corona 19, the city of Seoul decided to switch to a bed for treatment of 96 general Corona 19 patients. The Seoul Metropolitan Government explained that “there was a case where temporary beds were installed on idle sites in the hospital, but this is the first time to install a bed for COVID-19 treatment on a separate site.”
It is a structure in which the Seoul Metropolitan Government provides the bed site free of charge for a limited time, and the Seoul National University Hospital invests the cost and medical staff. Acting Seo said, “We will secure additional beds for severely ill patients at the Seoul Disaster Hospital, and provide free land to prepare for a crisis that may arise, as well as provide generous support for the prompt completion of the establishment process.
