[지앤이타임즈 송승온 기자] The Seoul Energy Corporation (President Kim Joong-sik) announced on Wednesday that it is holding a new and renewable energy business contest to complete the ‘2022 Solar City Seoul’.

As an eco-friendly energy public company leading the conversion of new and renewable energy, KDHC held a photovoltaic power generation business competition in June 2020. Subsequently, this year, a public offering will be conducted by expanding the entire new and renewable energy business.

In the first half of the year, it recruits the photovoltaic business, and from the second half of the year, it plans to expand to wind power, fuel cells, and waste to contribute to the active expansion of new and renewable energy.

The target of the competition project is a project of 10MW or more, which is applicable to both domestic and overseas solar power generation projects. If the minimum capacity of one site is 500kW or more, it is possible to propose a grouping project. In the case of including projects in the Seoul area, projects with a total capacity of 1MW or more and a minimum capacity of 100kW can also be supported.

A construction official said, “We are planning to promote the business by investing in the selected business entity and special purpose corporation through the public offering,” and “We ask for the interest and support of related companies and organizations.”

Anyone from local governments, public institutions, or private companies can participate in the project competition, and can be submitted by email ([email protected]) from the 22nd to the 26th at 16:00. For other details, you can inquire at the Sunshine Business Department (telephone 02-2640-5327).

Upon completion of the reception of the target project, the final selection business will be announced on May 3, through screening and feasibility review, and the project will start in earnest from June.

Seoul Energy Corporation President Kim Joong-sik said, “The public offering project in 2021 will be expanded and implemented in the new and renewable energy business field, starting with the announcement of the solar power generation business in 2020. I will go out.”

Meanwhile, the KTO has promoted the solar power project selected through a public offering in the second half of last year. It is expected to discover additional new businesses through this public offering.
