[국토일보 조성구 기자] The Seoul Energy Corporation (President Kim Joong-sik) took the first step in the school solar power project by promoting the solar power generation project at Paijae High School to reduce greenhouse gases.

On the 5th, Seoul Energy Corporation signed a business agreement with Gangdong-gu Office (Gu Officer Jeong-Hoon Lee) and Baejae High School (Principal Jin-Young Ko) at Gangdong-gu Office on the 5th.

This school solar power project is a project to install about 500kW solar power generation facilities on the main building of Paijae High School, the roof of the auditorium, and the parking lot.

Seoul Energy Corporation plans to gradually expand the school solar power supply project to Gangdong-gu Office and private high schools in Gangdong-gu.

This is to initiate a GHG reduction project by expanding the supply of new and renewable energy as part of the ‘2022 Solar City, Seoul’ and the ‘2050 Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan’.

Lee Jeong-hoon, head of Gangdong-gu, said, “I think it is very meaningful to sign such a business agreement at the beginning of the Gangdong-type Green New Deal.” It will be an opportunity.”

“We hope that Baejae High School will be a good starting point for the school’s photovoltaic power generation business in Gangdong-gu,” said Ko Jin-young, the principal of Baejae High School.

Seoul Energy Corporation President Kim Joong-sik said, “I am grateful to Baejae High School and Gangdong-gu Office for actively participating in the reduction of greenhouse gases.”

Next, “Seoul Energy Corporation will do its best to secure an idle site to supply eco-friendly solar power generation.” We look forward to the participation of more schools.”

Meanwhile, Seoul Energy Corporation plans to further expand the school solar power supply project to schools in Seoul starting with Gangdong-gu.
