As a result of a survey of 1,502 people aged 18 and over nationwide on the 8-10th by Real Meter commissioned by YTN, the approval rate of the Democratic Party in Seoul was 31.7%, up 5.0 percentage points from the previous week. The power of the people fell 5.1 percentage points to 30.1%.
There was a 1.6% point gap within the margin of error (±2.5% points at 95% confidence level), but the ranking has changed.
In Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, where the Busan Mayor’s by-election is scheduled, the approval rating of the people fell 4.7 percentage points to 34.9%, and the Democratic Party approval rating rose 3.6 percentage points to 28.0%. The gap in approval rating is 6.9 percentage points, which is outside the margin of error.
In the national approval rating, the Democratic Party rose 2.1 percentage points to 33.0%, and the people’s power fell 0.7 percentage points to 31.1%. This was followed by the People’s Party of 6.7%, the Open Democratic Party of 6.7%, and the Justice Party of 5.3%.
President Moon Jae-in’s approval rating (positive evaluation) was 41.3%, up 2.0 percentage points from last week. The negative evaluation fell 1.6 percentage points to 54.7%. 4.0% of respondents did not know. The difference between the positive and negative evaluations is 13.4%, which is outside the range of error.
Positive evaluation rose in Gangwon (16.6%p↑), Seoul (10.4%p↑), Booulkyung (3.8%p↑), 20s (5.9%p↑), and midway (5.6%p↑). Negative evaluation decreased in Seoul (10.5%p↓) and Boulgyeong (5.8%p↓), and increased in Gwangju Jeolla (8.4%p↑) and Daegu Gyeongbuk (6.9%p↑).
