Former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol came out on the 8th of a poll that stated that the opinions that advance into politics is appropriate and that it is inappropriate.

According to the results of a survey of 500 adults over 18 years of age nationwide at the request of YTN by Real Meter on the 5th, 48.0% of the respondents said that it was appropriate for Mr. Yun to advance into politics, and 46.3% said that it was inappropriate.

In terms of support, the Democratic Party (“appropriate” 5.8% vs. “Inappropriate” 88.4%) and the Open Democratic Party (12.2% vs. 82.0%) had a lot of “inappropriate”. On the other hand, the People’s Power (86.8% vs 11.2%), the People’s Party (59.9% vs 37.8%), and the Justice Party (52.4% vs 28.0%) showed a lot of’appropriate’.

The difference between regions was also large. The response of’appropriate’ was highest in Daegu and Gyeongbuk (75.0% vs 17.3%). Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong (57.0% vs 36.3%) followed by Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (48.6% vs 47.2%). In Seoul, opinions were tightly divided between’appropriate’ (46.0%) and’inappropriate’ (45.2%).

By age, respondents who answered’appropriate’ in the order of 70 years old or older (57.4% vs 31.1%), 60s (53.9% vs 40.6%), 50s (53.5% vs 42.5%), 30s (35.6%) vs 62.7%) and in their 40s (44.0% vs 54.4%) had more of’inappropriate’.
