Seocho-gu already has 52.3%, 47.4% of the Mayor of Seoul’s turnout

The turnout of the Mayor of Seoul in the 4·7 re-election will exceed 50%. As of 4 PM, it was 47.4%. Gangnam 3 districts, including Songpa, Seocho, Gangnam, and Songpa, which have shown high turnout since the morning, are still ranking first to third. The turnout of the Busan mayor was 42.4%.

According to the election statistics system of the Central Election Commission on the 7th, as of 4 p.m., out of the total of 842,5869 votes for the mayor of Seoul, a total of 399,5758 voted, with a turnout of 47.4%.

The high turnout in Gangnam District 3 continues from the morning. Among the 25 autonomous districts in Seoul, Gangnam 3-gu ranks in the top 1 to 3, and the number of people in this area is large, and the number of voters is about twice as large as that of other autonomous districts. Seocho-gu, which showed the highest vote, had a turnout of 52.3% (18,454,454 people), followed by Songpa-gu 49.7% (28,2384 people) and Gangnam-gu 49.7% (22,4704 people). Songpa-gu, which has the largest population, has more than twice the number of voters in each of the other 10 autonomous districts.

In other regions, the turnout rate in Jongno-gu was 49.3% (65,210 people), Nowon-gu 49.1% (210,9052 people), Dongjak-gu 48.7% (168,019 people), and Mapo-gu 48.6% (15,7094 people). Although this area has a high turnout rate, the population count is significantly lower than that of Gangnam 3-gu, except for Nowon-gu. Gangseo-gu, which has a relatively large population, has a turnout of 45.6% (23,404 people), which is below the average. In addition, Jungnang-gu (43.8%) and Geumcheon-gu (42.0%) are significantly lower than the average turnout.

On the other hand, the voter turnout for the re-election of the Busan mayor is 42.4%, with 1.24 million people currently voting out of the total of 2.93 million people in the elections. The places where the turnout rate is high are Yeonje-gu 44.9% (81,074 people), Geumjeong-gu 44.8% (91,651 people), and Nam-gu 44.5% (10,2629 people).
