[SEN]SNK and Netmarble signed’KOF’ IP extension contract

[서울경제TV=배요한기자] SNK(950180)Interactive announced today (5th) that it has signed a contract with Netmarble to extend the IP (Intellectual Property Rights) partnership between’The King of Fighters (hereinafter referred to as KOF)’.

With this extension, SNK’s global fighting game’KOF’ IP can continue to enjoy the mobile action RPG’King of Fighter All Star’, which Netmarble is developing and publishing.

‘King of Fighter All-Star’ was first released in Japan in July 2018, and then gained sensational popularity, ranking in the top 10 of the two major app markets in Japan 5 days after its launch. In addition, thanks to the reactions and favorable reviews among game users, it was serviced in Korea in May 2019, and the number of cumulative downloads reached 1 million in 3 days of release.
