On the 2nd, Hana Financial Group held the management committee of affiliates (government committee) to select representative candidates for six affiliates, including Hana Asset Trust, Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management, Hana F&I, Hana Financial TI, Hana Ventures, and Finck.

Former Hana Bank Managing Director Kang Dong-hoon and the new Hana Financial TI president candidate Park Geun-young were selected as the candidate for the new Hana F&I president. The two candidates are scheduled to serve two years after going through the board of directors of each company and a regular shareholders’ meeting.

Candidate Kang joined Korea Exchange Bank in 1988 and served as a professor in charge of credit education in the HR Department of Korea Exchange Bank and a compliance officer at Hana Bank. An official from Hana Financial said, “I have been working at a bank for over 30 years and have insight into the financial environment at home and abroad,” and said, “Based on our knowledge of laws and strategies for the entire business, we were evaluated as the right person to inspire the growth and vitality of the company.” said.

Candidate Park is a bank IT expert who has been working in information technology (IT) related departments for 30 years since joining the computer department of Hana Bank in 1991. In 2016, he was in charge of computerization integration between the former Hana Bank and the former Korea Exchange Bank, and is currently the head of the ICT group.

Hana Asset Trust President Lee Chang-hee, Kim Hee-seok, Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management President, Kim Dong-hwan, Hana Ventures President, and Kwon Young-tak, President Finck were selected as consecutive candidates. They are expected to extend their term of office by one year after going through the board of directors of each company and a regular shareholders’ meeting.
