Selected as CEO candidates for 6 affiliates including Hana Finance and Asset Trust

Hana Financial Group selected the final candidates for CEOs of six affiliates, including Kang Dong-hoon, former Hana Bank Compliance Officer, as the new president of Hana F&I.

Hana Financial Group (Chairman Jeong-Tae Kim) announced on the 2nd that it had decided to deliberate on a total of six affiliates’ CEO candidates through the affiliate management committee (hereinafter referred to as the Government Administration Committee).

On this day, the company for which the resolution of the CEO candidate was deliberated was △Hana Asset Trust △Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management △Hana F&I △Hana Financial TI △Hana Ventures △Pink. Accordingly, Hana Financial Group has finalized the selection of CEO candidates for all affiliates.

Former Hana Bank Compliance Officer Kang Dong-hoon was selected as the candidate for the new president of Hana F&I, and Park Geun-young, the current head of Hana Bank’s ICT group, was selected as the candidate for the new president of Hana Financial TI. These candidates are expected to receive a two-year term after going through the board of directors and regular shareholders’ meetings of each company this month.

Candidate Kang was born in 1961, graduated from the Department of Law at Korea University, and joined KEB in 1988, where he served as a professor in charge of credit education in the Human Resources Department of KEB and a managing director of compliance officer. At Hana Bank, he previously served as the executive director of the compliance officer.

Hana Financial said that Candidate Kang worked at banks for more than 30 years and developed an understanding and insight into the financial environment at home and abroad. In particular, as a compliance officer of the bank, he evaluated that he had excellent insights on laws and strategies for the entire business.

Candidate Park, born in 1963, graduated from Dankook University’s Department of Computing and Statistics, and joined Hana Bank’s Computer Science Department in 1991 and worked in IT-related departments for more than 20 years. Hana Financial TI is a company in charge of digital transformation of the group.

Meanwhile, Hana Asset Trust President Lee Chang-hee, Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management President Kim Hee-seok, Kim Dong-hwan, Hana Ventures President, and Kwon Young-tak, President Finck were selected as consecutive candidates. Each of them is expected to extend their term of office by one year.
