On the 26th, the Blue House announced that it had appointed Yong Hong-taek, head of the R&D policy department of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the digital innovation secretary in the science and technology advisory office, respectively, to the 1st and 2nd vice ministers of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The 2nd Vice Minister Cho Kyoung-sik completed the 34th administrative exam, Bae Jae-go in Seoul, the Department of Business Administration at Korea University, and the Master’s degree at Michigan State University in the United States. At the Ministry of Information and Communication, the predecessor of the Ministry of Science and Technology, he served as the head of the information security industry, the head of the information use promotion department, the head of the communication competition policy team, and the head of the communication and broadcasting policy general team.

After the Ministry of Information and Communication was consolidated and abolished with the former Broadcasting Commission, he served as the Chief of Radio Planning Division, Planning and Finance Officer, and International Cooperation Office at the Korea Communications Commission. . Since then, he has worked as an auditor of the Korea Education Broadcasting Corporation, and has worked as a digital innovation secretary in the Science and Technology Advisory Office of the Presidential Policy Office.

The 1st Vice Minister Yong Hong-taek completed the Department of Electrical Engineering at Hanyang University and master’s degree at the same university with the 26th technical examination.He served as Director of Future Talent Policy at the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Director of Science and Technology Policy at the Ministry of Science and Technology, Director of Information and Communication Industry Policy, and Director of Research and Development Policy.
