On the 10th, the Ministry of Education said, “In the case of self-quarantine for the 2nd teacher appointment test, and for those with symptoms, we are thoroughly preparing to take the test at a separate place by separating the traffic line from the general test taker.” And, in principle, the designated institution can take the test.”

Previously, the first round of teacher appointment exams held in the second half of last year could not be taken by confirmed patients. In particular, on November 21, last year, just before the first appointment test for secondary school teachers, a bunch of confirmed candidates came out due to group infection from Noryangjin academy, and both of them were controversial as their opportunities were limited.

However, on the 4th, the Ministry of Education decided to suspend the effect of the measures that the Constitutional Court restricted the admission of confirmed persons in the bar exam until the decision on the case for requesting a judgment on the Constitutional Petition. As a guideline was prepared that states that individuals can also take the exam, it was decided to give confirmed candidates an opportunity to take the exam as well.

Candidates who are confirmed confirmed must immediately report to the Office of Education and take the test according to the instructions. Applicants who are confirmed immediately after entering a life treatment center, etc., should be checked with a doctor every day.

The Ministry of Education explained that it is working closely with related organizations to create a safe test environment ahead of the second test. In addition, it was decided to check the status of confirmed persons and self-quarantine among the candidates, as well as related organizations such as the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bangdaebon) on a daily basis, and to promptly inspect if an inspection target occurs.

As of the previous day, among the 2nd exam candidates, 1 confirmed coronavirus and 5 self-quarantine. The confirmed person takes the test non-face-to-face within the designated institution, and in the case of practical/experimental evaluation that is difficult to operate within the designated institution, it is transferred to a place separate from the general test taker to take the test. In the case of self-quarantine and symptomatic patients, non-face-to-face evaluation is conducted at a separate location.

Deputy Prime Minister Yu Eun-hye and Minister of Education said, “We will thoroughly prepare for safe and fair test operation.” The second exam, which evaluates in-depth interviews and class demonstrations, is scheduled to take place on the 13th to 15th for elementary and elementary school teachers, and on the 20th and 26th to 27th for middle school and comparative teachers.
