However, the snow that started on Tuesday two days ago does not change to rain and continues to pour in Honam and Jeju Island. With the cold wind still fierce, the temperature this morning dropped below -17 degrees Celsius below zero in Daegwallyeong in Gangwon-do and 10 degrees below zero Celsius in Seoul. There are many places where the perceived temperature is below -20 degrees Celsius.

As the Arctic cold of -30 degrees Celsius covered the 5km of the Korean peninsula, the temperature in Daegwallyeong, Gangwon-do fell below -17 degrees Celsius in Gangwon-do and 10 degrees below zero in Seoul and other metropolitan areas.
Southern regions such as Jeonju and Daegu are also below -5 degrees Celsius and are as cold as yesterday.
A cold wave warning is in effect in Gangwon-do, and a cold wave warning in northern Gyeonggi and Chungcheong, and Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk.
Snow continues to fall between the mountains of Jeolla-do and Jeju amid the last cold wave.
From yesterday to this morning, 19cm of heavy snow fell in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do, and about 8cm in Gwangju and 6cm in Seongsan in Jeju.
By this morning, up to 5cm of snow will fall in Jeolla-do, and 3~8cm of snow is expected in the mountains of Jeju, Ulleungdo and Dokdo.
The wind will also blow very strongly around the coast and Jeju Island.
In particular, in the Yeongdong area of Gangwon-do, the maximum instantaneous wind speed between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and a gust of up to 30m per second is expected, increasing the risk of a large forest fire.
This cold will be relieved from tomorrow as a warm southwest wind blows.
Tomorrow, the daytime temperature in most regions will rise to around 10 degrees Celsius, and the day after tomorrow on weekends will rise to 15 degrees, and the warm spring weather is expected.
