On the 26th, Chairman Kim Jong-in of the People’s Power Emergency Response Committee called for attention to Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, who wrote the expression’a patient with severe dementia’ to President Moon Jae-in.
Chairman Kim met with reporters after finishing his campaign in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu that afternoon, and said, “I heard that Candidate Oh made a radical remark because of excitement, but that will not happen in the future.”
Chairman Kim said, “At the first squadron meeting, I asked you to be careful with your words,” he said. “It seems like I made such a noise in a state of sudden excitement, but I gave attention to it.”
Chairman Kim urged attention at the squadron meeting the day before, saying, “You must thoroughly recognize how many votes you can lose for a single word wrong.”
Prior to this, Candidate Oh said at a campaign at Jeungmi Station in Gangseo-gu, Seoul this morning, “When I pointed out,’I’m not a serious dementia patient,’ it’s an overstatement.”
He responded to the controversy behind his speech at the Gwanghwamun rally in October 2019, aiming at President Moon’s remarks that “our economy is going right” and saying “sound like a complaining of severe dementia patients.

Former Dongyang University professor Jin Jung-kwon shared an article on Facebook that introduced Oh’s remarks and criticized “Shut up if you want to be elected. This man has no concept at all. The party gave a last-minute warning.”
In another article, Professor Jin said, “If you want to win, be careful with your mouth.” “I don’t know what will happen if I look at the ballot box,” he pointed out again.
