The power of the people in the by-election of Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, a preliminary candidate of the National Assembly Party, announced on the 13th that it is important to unify the opposition by agreeing to joint operation of the Seoul Metropolitan Government with Ahn Chul-soo. Earlier, Candidate Oh said, “If the people’s strength and the 3rd zone candidates are unified through public opinion polls, the supporters will still not agree. So even if you become a candidate, how to enter Seoul together rather than the polls? It is a good message to voters, and a unified way to mobilize support to increase the likelihood of victory.”
Unlike Candidate Oh, who emphasized solidarity with Candidate Ahn Chul-soo, Na argued that the range of solidarity should be widened. Candidate Na said, “It is a new political platform that anyone who respects the fundamental values of our constitutional order and who respects others and agrees with common sense for coexistence,” said “Candidate Ahn and Tae-seop Geum, as well as Candidate Jo Jung-hoon. “We must be able to be together” he emphasized.
