Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of the People’s Power of the People’s Power, repeated the position of “false facts” on the allegations of speculation in Naegok-dong land raised by the Democratic Party candidate Park Young-sun on the 16th.
However, Candidate Oh corrected his claim that the development of Naegok-dong was decided during the Roh Moo-hyun administration in the process of clarification, saying, “There was confusion in the state that official documents were not confirmed.”
Candidate Oh said on Facebook this morning that “after the suspicion was raised, the land of Bogeumjari housing in Naegok-dong was already designated by the Roh Moo-hyun administration as a planned district for national rental housing before the inauguration of the mayor of Seoul, but there was confusion without confirming the official documents at the time.” “In March 2006, Mayor Lee Myung-bak proposed the designation of the district to the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, but there was some controversy in the process of public inspection and consultation with related ministries, so the designation was not made at the time,” he explained.
Still, he said, “It’s obvious that the land of Naegok-dong that they had a problem with was a place that my wife and family members inherited from the death of a father-in-law in 1970 and owned it for a long time,” he said. “Before I took office as the mayor in July 2006, there were no discussions on the designation of the district. “It’s been done,” he emphasized.
Candidate Oh said, “After that, the’Special Act on National Rental Housing Construction, etc.’ was completely revised to’Special Act on Bogeumjari Housing Construction, etc.’ I just stepped on it, and that was also the matter for the director of the housing bureau.”
Also, “Chun Joon-ho, Democratic Party lawmaker Goh Gom-Jeong are making false claims as if I used the position of the mayor of Seoul to designate a district and take huge rewards, but this is not true at all.” It is not a common sense to see,” he argued.
He said, “My wife-in-law is the mayor, but he said that he took the position to cooperate with the policy and took the damage. In this regard, the SH Corporation has already been compensated according to the standards and procedures set in our party’s Assemblyman Kwon Young-se, and legally the problem is “No,” he added.
Candidate Oh emphasized, “I didn’t know the existence and location of this land at the time, and I still don’t know its location.” “If we pollute the mayoral elections of the Seoul city with the old-fashioned turbid elections, we are seriously warned that we will respond to Candidate Joon-ho Cheon, Goh Min-jung, as well as Candidate Park Young-seon, with zero tolerance.”
