The results of the unification of the opposition for the Seoul Mayor by-election will be announced at 9:30 am on the 23rd.
Candidate Se-hoon Oh and Candidate Chul-soo Ahn’s working-level negotiating group announced on the 22nd that “the results of the unification will be announced at 9:30 am tomorrow.”
The unified public opinion poll was conducted on 3,200 voters residing in Seoul by two companies. It was made with 100% of wireless phones, and they asked for’competitiveness’ and’suitability’.
In a public opinion poll, even if one of the two candidates becomes a single candidate, Park Young-seon and the Democratic Party candidate were found to be significantly ahead of the candidates.
On this day, in a poll surveyed by Real Meters commissioned by JTBC on 1007 people aged 18 and over living in Seoul on the 20th and 21st, 53.4% of respondents said they would vote for Oh, and 31.4% of Park. In the case of Candidate Ahn, 55% was in the case of Candidate Park, 29.2%. The sample error of the survey is ±3.1% points with a 95% confidence level, which is a result that greatly exceeds the error range.
Earlier, the two candidates announced that they would accept the result when a single candidate is decided. Candidate Oh said, “If a single candidate is decided, we will hold an election as one camp and one body.” Candidate Ahn also said, “No matter what results come out, we will conquer and work together to ensure that a single candidate is elected.”
