Schneider Electric ends college student contest

[테크월드뉴스=이혜진 기자] Schneider Electric Korea announced on the 10th that it has ended the college student competition.

The name of the contest is’EcoStruxure Demo Challenge’. It was conducted for university students (won) majoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field nationwide. It was prepared to recruit ideas in the field of energy management and automation.

The competition was held online. In March last year, online application was started and the final three teams were selected after the first presentation.

The selected three teams presented novel ideas for ▲Smart Farm ▲Agricultural Management System ▲Energy Building Solution, etc., based on the 3 layers of the company’s open integrated architecture platform, EcoStruxure.

In the final awards ceremony, the presentation of the final three teams, selection of the final winning team, and awards were held. The grand prize was awarded by students Kwon Hyuk-ju, Kim Young-jun, Kim Jang-yeop, Lee Jeong, and Jeong Seo-yoon, who implemented demos on the theme of EcoStruxure Smart Farm.

Schneider Electric’s total scholarship of 3 million won was provided to the target team. Each of the two teams that made the finals was awarded a scholarship of 1 million won.
