[아시아경제 최은영 기자] Sayuri, a broadcaster who recently announced that she became a’voluntary single mother’ through childbirth, explained what she considered when choosing sperm and how she suffered from pregnancy addiction.
On the 25th, Sayuri posted a video on her YouTube channel titled’The day I became a real mother, I met my son’. The video contained the story of the child and the story of Sayuri’s sperm donation.
Sayuri, when asked about choosing sperm donation, said, “Once I didn’t drink or smoke, and my body was healthy first,” he said. I found it. I thought it was important to have a lot of empathy.”
“I finally received sperm from a Westerner,” he said. “I didn’t care much about the child’s nationality. After looking for a healthy and high EQ person, I decided to be a Westerner. (But) I want to resolve the misunderstanding of sperm donation. Because of the cultural differences, Asian people don’t seem to donate a lot.”
Since then, Sayuri has cited’new coronavirus infection (Corona 19)’ as the most worried part during pregnancy. “I was so scared of Corona 19,” she confessed, “Even though it wasn’t, it was sensitive and mentally difficult because of hormones during pregnancy. In the meantime, it was even harder because of corona.
“Actually, I had pregnancy addiction at the end and gave birth 10 days earlier than expected. I learned for the first time that old labor is dangerous. I exercised a lot and thought it would be okay, but it wasn’t.” “I heard that 700cc of blood came out after giving birth. I almost passed out, but the doctor said,’You shouldn’t pass out.’

Sayuri said about the process of holding her son in her arms through such a difficult childbirth, “It was wonderful and beautiful.”
“I thought that when a child was born,’I love you the most,’ but that wasn’t the case,” she said. “I felt like seeing a stranger. But day by day, I get prettier. Some people value blood, but (rather than that) I think spending time together is very important.”
On the other hand, Sayuri, born in 1979, became a hot topic through SNS in November of the fact that “I became the mother of a child by donating sperm of an unknown man from a Japanese sperm bank.”
At the news of her birth, numerous netizens said, “The courage to choose a voluntary single mother is wonderful.” The back reaction was shown.
