On the occasion of BTS member J-Hope’s birthday, fans raised 13 million won by raising a donation campaign to support children victims of abuse, the international relief and development NGO’Save the Children’ announced on the 18th.

‘Hope Goes On 2021′ organized by J-Hope’s fan account’Hope On The World’ and’J-HOPE GLOBAL UNION’, an overseas fan account alliance, with’Save the Children’ ‘Is a donation campaign to support children victims of abuse from January 18th.

Fans from 13 countries, including Korea, the United States, Japan, Canada, Britain, France, the Philippines, Portugal, Chile, Italy, and Spain, collected donations for their J-Hope birthday on February 18th.

Up to now, more than 400 fans have participated and 13 million won has been raised, and the campaign page was opened until the 28th to allow more participation.

‘Save the Children’ said that the donation will be used for psychological treatment of abused children.

‘Hope on the World’, a Korean fan account, has been steadily holding a J-Hope birthday donation campaign with fans around the world every year since 2019.

On the 3rd of last month, member Jimin posted a post on the fan community Weverse saying’#Jeong In-ah, I’m sorry’, voicing for the protection and support of children victims of abuse, and ARMYs at home and abroad also participated in a memorial campaign.

In this way, with the public interest in child abuse cases, this year, we are running a campaign in cooperation with’Save the Children’ to support domestic abuse victims.

Fans who participated in the donation campaign left warm messages such as’Thanks to it, I’m glad to be able to help someone’ and’It’s a small amount but I hope it will be a big help by gathering.
