The San Diego Padres have announced an extension of their contract with leading shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., 22.

The Padres club announced on the 23rd (Korean time) that it had agreed to a 14-year contract with Tatis Jr. under the name of AJ Preller. This contract is in effect until 2034.
