“Samsung is maintaining a tremendous amount of investment, including $21.6 billion in 2017-2018, $19.3 billion in 2019, and $28.1 billion in 2020, and is expected to make the same level of investment this year,” said IC Insights. In January, we announced that we would invest up to $25 to 28 billion dollars, and most of the investment will be used to secure additional capacity for 7-nanometer and 5-nanometer technologies, which are currently in very strong demand.”
