Samsung Huawei unveils a new high-end cost-effective phone

Until now, Samsung Electronics has been holding’Unpack’, a new product release event only when launching premium products.

This is the first time we held an unpack event for the low-end model Galaxy A series.

As the number of consumers looking for mid-to-low-priced phones is increasing worldwide, it is interpreted with the intention to expand market dominance by putting the previous-class cost-performance ratio ahead.

This is a new product of the Galaxy A series of low-end smartphones that Samsung Electronics unveiled on the 17th.

It has 4 cameras only on the rear side to make the word mid-priced phone.

In addition to waterproof and dustproof, it also applied anti-shake function when shooting, which was only used in premium products.

Even with these features, the price is only around 400,000 won.

The reason Samsung Electronics is giving power to the Galaxy A series is that the proportion of low- and mid-priced products in the market is gradually increasing.

Among smartphones sold in Korea last year, the price of products with a price of 450,000 won or less accounted for 41% of the total, an increase of 7 percentage points in a year, and the most popular model was the popular Galaxy A31.

Overseas, mid- and low-end phones are more popular. Of the top 10 smartphone models sold worldwide last year, six were mid- to low-end products.

In addition, there are calculations to fill the gaps between Huawei, which was hit directly by US sanctions, and LG Electronics, which is expected to withdraw from the smartphone business.

The global smartphone market is expected to return to growth in 4 years thanks to the corona 19 base effect and the expansion of 5G phone sales.

The market’s attention is focused on Samsung Electronics’ choice of abandoning its premium strategy that has been adhering to many years and reinforcing its entry-level smartphone strategy.
