Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, the lowest 5G phone in Korea, released on the 12th

Samsung Electronics announced on the 7th that it will release the 400,000 won 5G smartphone’Galaxy A42 5G’ (Galaxy A42 5G) on the 12th of this month.
The Galaxy A42 is equipped with a’Infinity-U’ display that fills the front of the screen with the exception of the upper center camera space on a 6.6-inch large screen, and a 5,000mAh large-capacity battery is applied.
On the back, a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel depth camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera are equipped with quad cameras. There was a 20-megapixel camera on the front.

This product is released as a self-sufficient and mobile communication model, and the price is 449,000 won, which is the cheapest among 5G smartphones in Korea. Available in three colors: Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White, and Prism Dot Gray.
Prior to the official launch on the 12th, Samsung Electronics will pre-sell it on the Samsung Electronics website, Coupang, Gmarket, and 11th Street from the 8th to the 11th.
Pre-purchase customers are entitled to a 20% discount.
Samsung Electronics will provide a 50% discount coupon for wireless earphones, Galaxy Buzz Live, to customers who purchase Galaxy A42 by the 31st of this month. In addition, a two-month free trial of’YouTube Premium’ and a two-month free subscription to the e-book’Milli’s Study’, a reading platform, are also provided to all purchasers.
As Huawei’s sales decline in earnest, Samsung Electronics plans to expand the 5G market by releasing mid-priced phones such as the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A72 that support 5G in the first half of this year.
Last year, Samsung Electronics’ mid-range phones supported 5G only up to the Galaxy A51.
